Fire Dawg is a huge hit
February 24, 2011
Stuffed animals are always a huge hit—kids and parents alike love them. They’re adorable, fun to play with and are great ways to get messages across to younger children.
Prevention Connection carries two different dogs that our clients love for different reasons. Everyone’s favorite, the Fire Safety Dawg is a unique Dalmatian that stands 10 inches tall on bendable legs, so he can sit, stand, or cling onto a child’s arm affectionately. He carries a hat and a Dawg tag that can be customized to hold your fire departments logo, and is garnished with his classic silly and friendly smile that would brighten anyone’s day.
At least 1000 of these Fire Safety Dawgs need to be ordered before we can bring them back, so hurry up and get your orders in so we can reserve the pick of the litter for you.
Nola Laubach, office administrator with the BC Burn Fund, is desperate for the return of these dawgs. “We give them away as prizes for the annual burn awareness week poster contest. Kids love them, they are the best product I’ve seen so far.”
Our second dog, the Pup for Prevention, is an adorable little Dalmatian puppy that children love. He sits on his bum seven inches tall and wears a t-shirt that is customized with a fire department logo and of course, also wears his firemen’s hat. He also comes with the option to add a customized hangtag with additional information to help reinforce the fire safety message.
Cam Ferguson, the Deputy Fire Chief with Cowichan Bay Volunteer Fire Department, loves using these dogs during his classes. “We find that the smaller kids respond better to our fire safety programs when we give them a fire dog Dalmatian plush toy. It’s great to see our fire department crest on the t-shirt of Last Logos’ plush dogs.”
If you want to find a way to make children happy while promoting positive fire safety, there’s no better way to do it then with the help of our dogs.
