SafeCanada.ca webportal decommissioned as of 03/12/10

The SafeCanada.ca web portal has been decommissioned effective March 12, 2010 and is no longer being maintained or updated.

The SafeCanada.ca Web portal and directory has been decommissioned as a result of a departmental initiative to update and consolidate information on the Web sites operated by Public Safety Canada. This initiative reduces duplication and improves the accuracy of public safety information provided to all Canadians.

PublicSafety.gc.ca is the lead Web site for public safety information in Canada and helps connect Canadians with trusted information and services relating to public safety from the Government of Canada and its partners. On PublicSafety.gc.ca you will find information on national security, emergency management, law enforcement, corrections, crime prevention and borders.
